This lesson offers an introduction to copyright within the UK context when dealing with multidimensional media.

By the end of this session you are expected to be able to:

  • Understand the ways in which creative works, in particular images and visual material are protected, in the context of copyright law in the UK.
  • To be aware of the impact of the copyright legislation on personal practice for collecting multidimensional data.
  • Be aware of the types of licenses available to protect creative works, as well as to use others’ creative works.
